Russell & Bromley to open store at Intu Trafford Centre

Luxury shoe brand Russell & Bromley is to open a new store at the Intu Trafford Centre.

The company has signed for 2,630 square feet of space on the upper level of Regent Crescent close to The Dome. Nearby retailers include Coast, Reiss, Radley and Molton Brown.

Julian Wilkinson, regional director of Intu, said: “In the RetailVision Rankings, Manchester was the top retail destination outside London and Intu Trafford Centre was the top shopping centre outside the capital. This means we can attract well known retailers drawn by our annual footfall of over 30 million, and 6.2 million catchment. Russell & Bromley continues our focus on driving this prime asset and adding to the list of high quality lettings at the centre.”

Anchored by Selfridges, John Lewis and Debenhams, Intu Trafford Centre has also announced that homewares retailer Lakeland will open a new 4,530 square foot store in March on the centre’s lower mall of Peel Avenue close to John Lewis, Tessuti, Calvin Klein, Armani and The Designer Studio.

Nationally, Intu has a £1.3 billion development pipeline in the UK over the next 10 years. At Intu Trafford Centre, planning permission is in place to enclose the Barton Square courtyard in a £45 million scheme that will add over 100,000 square feet of new space when completed in 2018.
