Royal Mail expands wellbeing support for colleagues and their families
Royal Mail has expanded its wellbeing offering for staff members and their families.
The move will make it easier for colleagues to access support for mental and physical health, as well as advice on managing money and navigating life’s big events and day-to-day challenges.
Royal Mail’s wellbeing hub will provide unlimited 24/7 access to an online GP, unlimited access to mental health consultations, and up to eight physiotherapy sessions a year. In addition, there will be online support for menopause symptoms and illnesses, including cancer and long Covid.
The hub will also offer advice and guidance on money matters such as managing finances on a day-to-day basis, debt, and saving for the future.
Zareena Brown, chief people officer at Royal Mail, said: “Our employees go above and beyond to deliver for the nation, and we’re committed to delivering more support for colleagues and their families. Whether it’s aches and pains, financial worries or stress at home, our wellbeing hub provides the right support at the right time.
“Everything our employees need to support their wellbeing is now available all in one place, from mental and physical health to finances and life tips. It’s free, confidential, and independent to Royal Mail and it’s available 24/7.”
Staff will also be able to access a new personalised wellbeing report which unlocks lifestyle coaching with access to nutrition and personal training support.
