Retail Summit 2009 -Leading retailers provide solutions to the current economic difficulties
Delegates braved the conditions to attend the first day of the Retail Bulletin Summit 2009 being held at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London
They were rewarded with a group of high-powered speakers who sought to point the way forward with solutions to the current economic difficulties.
A presentation from Mothercare highlighted how the company makes great efforts to deliver high levels of customer service at all touch points across multi-channels.
Delivering across channels was regarded as essential by Adri Kraa of IKEA who told delegates a multi-channel offer was essential to empowering customers and engendering customer loyalty.
A fierce debate was also enjoyed by a retail panel who disagreed as to the issue of whether or not to have consistent pricing across channels.
