Retail Bulletin to research consumer shopper insights
Retail Bulletin is to provide its readers with exclusive insights into consumer shopping behaviour after partnering with leading shopper research firm ResearchBods.
Consumers will be surveyed on a range of key topics to help retailers gain a perspective of industry issues from the view point of the shopper.
Retail Bulletin is planning to focus on areas that are of current importance to the retail industry. Initial findings will be presented at Retail Bulletin events before being released to the wider audience. In some cases, delegates attending events will be asked to submit questions for inclusion in the research, the results of which could help them to make informed business decisions.
ResearchBods, which runs Voice of the Customer programmes and provides online research services, will use its own panels to conduct the research into brand loyalty, pricing, quality and perspectives of brands and shopping experiences. Research will be conducted using both qualitative and quantitative methods to deliver a complete 360 degree view of the topic and the environment.
Never Miss a Retail Update!Angela Beevers, online editor of Retail Bulletin, said: “We are delighted to embark on this partnership with ResearchBods. The exclusive insights on shopping behaviour and what influences consumers’ shopping habits will be of huge benefit to our readers.”
Robin Hilton, director at ResearchBods, added: “Our experience and knowledge in the retail sector combined with our ability to research large numbers of consumers through our access panels make us the ideal partner for Retail Bulletin. We’re looking forward to working with one of the leading retail publishers to research key issues and share these findings across the industry.”
The first subject that consumers will be surveyed on is loyalty, the results of which will be presented to delegates at the 5th Annual Consumer Loyalty Conference to be held on 10 June at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London.
Delegates attending the event and Retail Bulletin readers are being encouraged to participate in the project by submitting any questions on loyalty that they would like see answered from a consumer perspective. Questions should be emailed to Ian Sprange at ians@theretailbulletin.com with “loyalty survey questions” in the subject line.
