Retail Bulletin editor plays her part during London 2012

Angela Beevers has been one of the thousands of volunteer London Ambassadors this week who have making sure that visitors to London receive a warm welcome during the Olympic Games.

The ideal candidate to take on such a role, Angela is always ready to help others and certainly had her work cut out with the many thousands of visitors who streamed through London Bridge station where she and her colleagues were based.

A cheerful and welcoming smile can make all the difference to visitors and really make their experience of our capital one to remember.

Speaking of her experience, Angela told me: “It’s been fantastic.  I’ve met visitors from all over the world and I’ve really enjoyed helping them to make the most of this fantastic city.”

Knowledgeable and friendly, Team London Ambassadors are on hand across the capital to offer visitors and Londoners alike a warm welcome during the Games. The Mayor of London’s 8,000 strong army of volunteers have been trained to help with everything from what’s on in the centre of town to the hidden treasures that help make London one of the best big cities in the world.
