Regatta appoints new managing director

Outdoor clothing brand Regatta has promoted Graham Rickard to the role of managing director.

Rickard has replaced Keith Black who has become the group’s chief executive and chairman.

Having worked with Regatta since 1998, Rickard’s previous roles include sales manager, Regatta product and marketing director, and most recently managing director of the Regatta Group brand Dare2b.

Following his promotion, he will retain his managing director responsibilities for Dare2b.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Black said: “I have been managing director of Regatta for 27 years and as the Regatta Group grows even further domestically and internationally, it felt like the right time to move into the role of CEO and chairman, a post I intend to hold for a long time to come.

“Graham is hugely well-equipped to take on the role of Managing Director for Regatta and I am looking forward to working with him as we continue to develop the UK’s largest outdoor brand into Europe’s largest outdoor brand.”
