Raft of retailers sign up to The Broadway

Five retailers have announced plans to join the line-up at the new The Broadway shopping centre in Bradford.

Accessorize, The Body Shop, Deichmann, Occasions and The Works have all confirmed that they will open stores at the city centre scheme where other retailers will include the likes of Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, H&M, Next, JD Sports, New Look, Topshop/Topman and River Island.

Due to launch on 5 November, The Broadway will create over 2,500 jobs in Bradford and is predicted to generate a 40% increase in city centre footfall.

Keith Mabbett, director of leasing at the Westfield operated centre, said: “It gives me great pride to be able to announce five more great names have signed up to The Broadway.

“These new names mean that more than 80% of the retail space is committed and continue to show how The Broadway is attracting new retailers to Bradford City Centre.”
