Quintain names new manager of Wembley Park
Quintain has appointed Matthew Slade to the new role of managing director of Wembley Park.
Slade joins Quintain from shopping centre operator Westfield Corporation where he opened Westfield Stratford City and was general manager during the London Olympics. Prior to joining Westfield in 2006, he was European marketing and loyalty manager at Chevron.
Quintain said Slade will be responsible for completing the transformation of Wembley Park into a “world class” retail and leisure destination. The company is now focused on establishing high retail standards and achieving operational excellence across the Wembley Park estate, which includes the London Designer Outlet Centre.
James Saunders, chief operating officer of Quintain, said: “Matthew will bring an overarching focus to the operation and performance of our assets at Wembley Park to enhance the location’s emerging identity as a leisure destination and the unique visitor experience.
“His expert perspective, as a result of his time at Westfield Stratford City during the London Olympics, will be immensely valuable and we are excited to welcome him to the team.”
