Poundstretcher slashes prices by up to 75% in new multi-million-pound summer sale
Discount chain Poundstretcher has cut prices by up to 75% on hundreds of products as part of a new multi-million-pound summer sale.
The move follows the retailer introducing hundreds of big brands to stores in recent months and making over one thousand permanent price cuts.
Andy Atkinson, chief executive of Poundstretcher, said: “We’re committed to continually helping our customers through the on-going cost of living crisis.
“I’m pleased to be offering them the opportunity to save money with the terrific savings in our Summer Sale, with up to 75% off hundreds of products.”
Items offered in the deals include reading glasses reduced from 99p to 69p, Panasonic AA batteries reduced from £1.78 to 89p, and Schwartz Mixes reduced from 79p to 20p.
Customers are also being given the chance to win a £10 shopping voucher every hour their store is open during a Mega Giveaway Weekend on 7 and 8 September.
Operating 312 stores, Poundstretcher was acquired by Fortress Investment Group, the owner of Majestic Wine, Vagabond Wines, and Punch Pubs Group, in April 2024.
