PhotoCovers & More open pop-up stores across UK

PhotoCovers & More is opening a number of pop-up stores across the UK which offer shoppers personalised on-the-spot printing onto covers of tablets, smartphones, puzzles and canvasses.

rpa:group’s designers have redeveloped the brand and 3D concept, which originated in South America, for use in UK shopping malls. The first PhotoCovers & More pop-ups opened in Westfield London and Stratford last week as part of plans to launch 15 stores across the UK before Christmas.

Nigel Collett, chief executive of rpa:group, said: “The USP of this exciting new pop up concept relied on encouragement of customer interaction. This led to a 360 degree experience, with an installation that demanded a minimal amount of space, while still being eye-catching and accessible to shoppers along busy mall corridors. Customers are able to preview and select their uploaded photographs on a display screen and have these printed onto an item of their choice giving them the ability to walk away with their personalised item almost immediately.

“Most importantly, the concept also delivers the added value of ‘locality’ to shopping destinations, having something unique delivered in real time and being able to walk away with the purchase.”
