Pets at Home’s Peter Pritchard to be keynote speaker at Omnichannel Futures

The Retail Bulletin is delighted to announce that Pets at Home chief executive Peter Pritchard is to be the keynote speaker at next year’s Omnichannel Futures conference.

To be held in London on 5 February, this one-day event will offer delegates an in-depth insight into the future of omnichannel retail and lots of inspiration and ideas for improving their own omnichannel offering.

Pritchard joined Pets at Home in 2011, initially as commercial director before moving to the roles of chief operating officer and then chief executive in 2018.

He has redeveloped the company’s strategy with the aim of making it “The Best Pet Care Business in the World” and a one-stop shop for pet owners.

Pets at Home’s focus on offering an engaging customer experience has helped its award-winning VIP loyalty scheme, or Very Important Pets Club, to sign up over 4.5 million members. One in three UK dogs and one in four cats are now registered on the scheme.

Other initiatives designed to increase customer engagement include children’s pet workshops, puppy socialisation classes, puppy training, dog agility classes and even dogs’ birthday parties.

Pets at Home also runs the UK’s largest joint venture veterinary business under the “Vets4Pets” fascia. In addition, it owns four specialist hospitals performing life changing surgery and treatments for pets. And in July, Pets at Home extended its services range by acquiring a majority stake in Tailster.com, the digital dog walking and pet boarding business.

The conference programme is currently being finalised. However, Retail Bulletin readers booking places in the next two weeks will qualify for an additional 20% discount on the already half price early bird ticket rate of £150. This means you and your colleagues can attend for just £120 when using the discount code RETAILER5020

Please note the discount rate can only be offered to delegates working within retail businesses. If you do not work in the retail sector and would like to attend, please contact karenh@theretailbulletin.com
