PC World to launch new in-store magazine
PC World is to begin publishing its own in-store consumer technology magazine for customers.
The magazine will provide practical information about how to get the most from their technology investment, covering computers, gadgets and digital entertainment devices such as plasma TVs.
“A wealth of digital lifestyle products, not just PCs, are available at very affordable prices and these allow consumers to do more than ever with their technology at home,” said Steve Woodward, Brand Manager, PC World. “Our aim with this new magazine is to guide readers through the vast range of options so as to help them get even more value out of their technology.”
“The launch of this new magazine offers PC World’s customers an engaging new branding experience. It finely balances inspiration with practical knowledge and buying advice, designed to deepen the customer’s relationship with the PC World brand,” said John Gower, Head of Customer Publishing for Future Plus. “The scope and effectiveness of editorial combined with the sheer scale of circulation will combine to have a significant impact in this dynamic market.”
The first issue of the PC World Magazine will include in-depth articles covering the full gamut of technology for the home – from how to give a house a digital makeover to a comprehensive guide to purchasing the laptop that best suits the reader’s needs.
