Park Group hires Gill Taylor as chief transformation officer

Park Group has announced that Gill Taylor has joined its senior leadership team in the role of chief transformation officer.

Taylor previously held the same position at not-for-profit organisation Ombudsman Services where she led the transfornation agenda across its systems, processes and people. Other previous roles include chief people officer at MBNA and head of change at The Co-operative Group.

The appointment comes as Park Group plans to move its core business to new offices at Chapel Street in the heart of Liverpool as part of its expansion strategy. Under the company’s new plan, it will separate its Birkenhead-based hampers business and drive product and customer innovation through digital technologies.

Reporting to Park Group chief executive Ian O’Doherty, Taylor will work horizontally across all of the company’s business lines and lead its strategic change team.

O’Doherty said: “We’re undergoing a period of significant change in order to create a dynamic and progressive financial services business anchored on digital. Critical to this is ensuring that everything fits together and we’re aligned, and Gill will be central to us achieving that.

“We’re delighted to have Gill on board at Park, not only because of her experience and class-leading knowledge around change, but also her ability to unify teams under a common set of values – a culture – that helps to drive it and bring people along on the journey.”
