Park Group gears up for growth with new senior appointments

Park Group, the multi-retailer gift voucher and prepaid gift card provider, has made two senior appointments as it gears up the business for growth.

Tim Clancy has joined the company as group chief financial officer while Steve Miller has become Park’s first chief information officer.

Clancy’s background includes working for the last seven years as European chief financial officer for insurance giant Assurant. Prior to that, he was commercial finance director at Shop Direct Group and held managing director roles at MyTravel and Airtours.

Meanwhile, Miller is the former head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Cheshire and European chief information officer at Standard Chartered Bank. Miller said part of his remit in the newly created role will be to find ways to make the customer journey ever more seamless across the company’s various channels.

Both hirings were made by Park’s chief executive Ian O’Doherty who joined the business earlier this year.

O’Doherty said: “The leadership experience and business capabilities Tim and Steve bring with them are unquestionable, and I’ve no doubt they will be instrumental in terms of helping to drive Park Group’s growth. Together with the amazing team we already have here at Park, we are set for a very bright future.”
