Pandora to open second York store

Pandora, the Danish jewellery chain, has secured a second store in central York.

To add to its existing site on Low Petergate, the jeweller has also taken space at 1-5 Davygate.

CBRE acted on behalf of landlord National Grid UK Pension Scheme Trustee on the completion of the lease for the former Karen Millen store in the heart of the city’s historic centre. The new store will open in six weeks’ time.

Ian Webster, director in the National Retail Agency team, said: “Pandora’s expansion to these new prime premises in York is evidence of its strong retail performance in the city. Davygate has seen a few voids in recent months, but this letting shows retailers’ confidence is still high for taking prime, well configured space in central York.”
