Pandora to open at Silverburn
Jewellery retailer Pandora is to open a new store at the Glasgow out-of-town shopping centre Silverburn.
The brand, best known for its charm bracelets, has taken a 1,215 square foot site adjacent to Original Penguin and Swarvoski. The store will open this month.
In addition to Pandora, Papyrus and Cath Kidston have both opened pop-up stores at the Hammerson operated centre and will trade through to at least January next year. Papyrus, the paper and stationery brand, has taken a 5,917 square foot store while Cath Kidston has returned for a second year with a 377 square foot shop.
Meanwhile, Open has made its debut in Scotland with the opening of a 6,953 square foot store adjacent to JD Sports and Bank.
David O’Neil, leasing executive at Hammerson, said: “Pandora enhances Silverburn’s jewellery offer and adds to the rich mix of brands available for visitors, particularly those looking to buy gifts for friends or loved ones. In the run-up to Christmas, Pandora, along with Papyrus, Cath Kidston, Open, our new Carluccio’s and unique TGI Friday’s, will ensure that Silverburn’s offer leads the region.”
