Pandora doubles store size at Centre:mk

Jewellery brand Pandora is significantly upsizing its existing store at the Centre:mk shopping centre in Milton Keynes.

The new 1,600 square foot statement store, which is due to open this month, is double the size of the original store and is situated on Silbury Arcade.

The upsize follows a strong performance by Pandora at Centre:mk which is jointly owned by Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper. The new look larger store, designed by Pandora’s in-house team, will feature the full range of Pandora jewellery including the famous Charm collection.

Ed Sellick, asset manager at Hermes Investment Management, said: “Pandora’s decision to double its presence in Centre:mk is a reflection of how well the brand performs here. Their new store reaffirms the growing mix of fashion, lifestyle and accessories brands, which already includes Hobbs, Jigsaw, Joules and The White Company.”

The news coincides with a 7.8% increase in jewellery sales at Centre:mk in 2015 compared to the previous year.

In addition, Centre:mk will see the arrival of Italian cosmetics brand Kiko Milano later this month. The brand will occupy a 2,070 square foot store on Midsummer Arcade.

Sellick added: “Together with the enhanced dining offer, the premium quarter is now firmly established as the best collection of aspirational brands in the region. In addition, Kiko Milano joining the line-up makes it a fantastic start to 2016 and continues to emphasise Centre:mk as the region’s leading retail destination.”
