Oliver Bonas chooses Cardiff for first Welsh store
Lifestyle retailer Oliver Bonas is to open its first Welsh store at the St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff.
Created by the Oliver Bonas in-house team, the 2,290 square foot shop will be situated adjacent to Reiss on The Hayes. It will stock the brand’s range of fashion, jewellery, homeware and gifts from its own design team as well as products from a selection of other brands.
An Oliver Bonas spokesperson said: “We love Cardiff and are thrilled to bring our curated fashion and homeware collections to the region in our first Welsh store. New designs will land each week and we hope to see a positive reaction from customers. We look forward to being part of the community for years to come.”
Launched in 1993, Oliver Bonas now has over 60 stores across the UK.
Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Landsec and Intu, Colin Flinn, regional managing director for the West at Intu, said the new store will “further cement the status of St David’s as a fully comprehensive retail and leisure destination” and will enhance the choice and variety for shoppers.
The announcement follows the opening of lingerie retailer Bravissimo’s store at St David’s in June.
Home to over 200 shops and restaurants, St David’s is anchored by Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, and the largest John Lewis outside of London.
