Ocado names Lawrence Hene as head of grocery retail
Online grocer Ocado has promoted its Head of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations, Lawrence Hene, to the newly created position of Head of Grocery Retail.
Hene played a major role in Ocado’s stock market flotation last year and will take up the new role with immediate effect.
Tim Steiner, Ocado CEO, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lawrence onto the Ocado Management Committee as our new Head of Grocery Retail. He has been an outstanding colleague since joining us in 2009; he was instrumental in our flotation and understands all areas of our business.”
He added, “These changes demonstrate the strength and depth of the Ocado management team. We are sure Lawrence will inspire and lead the Grocery Retail team to deliver an even better experience for Ocado customers.”
