Nottingham’s Intu Broadmarsh welcomes new retailers

The Intu Broadmarsh shopping centre has welcomed two new retailers ahead of the Christmas rush.

Dukki Design, which sells a range of regional inspired gifts and merchandise, has opened on the upper mall as a result of winning this year’s Inspiring Retail Nottingham competition.

As well as being given a rent-free unit at Intu Broadmarsh for a year, the firm received £5,000 in funding to help it to develop and secure business support.

Meanwhile, designer pop-up store Made in Nottingham has also opened its doors on the centre’s upper mall. The ‘loft concept’ design store, brings together the work of over 20 Nottingham designers.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Adam Tamsett, general manager at Intu Broadmarsh, said: “We were delighted to get involved with the Inspiring Retail competition this year and help to support local independent stores in the centre.

“Dukki Design and Made in Nottingham join us just weeks after Prisma and Deli-cious opened their doors within the centre, all of which give our retail mix a real boost. By having local independent retailers trading at intu Broadmarsh we are able to offer our shoppers something a bit different which is fantastic.”
