Nisa invites children to contribute to the design of cereal box
Symbol group Nisa ran a nationwide competition last week where children were invited to design a monster for the packaging of one of its new own label Heritage cereal lines.
The winner has now been announced as James Ghest, who designed a monster called Crunchy.
Aimed at the under 12s, the competition gave children the opportunity to colour and name the monster, with the winning design appearing on the packaging. The winner also received a Google Nexus Tablet, a framed picture of their design and will get a free box of cereal once the product is launched.
Erin May, Heritage brand manager, said: “We really wanted to encourage the children, and their parents, to engage with the Heritage brand and we wanted input from them on how they would like the packaging designed. We received some fantastic entries and can’t wait to see the winning design on pack.”
Never Miss a Retail Update! The competition was promoted through Nisa’s social media channels and Nisa members were encouraged to involve their local communities.
