Nisa appoints Nigel Gray as business unit director for symbol

Nisa Retail has appointed former Spar Henderson executive Nigel Gray to the newly created position of business unit director for symbol.

Gray was most recently retail and operations director at Spar Henderson where he oversaw the commercial and operational performance of 80 company owned sites across Northern Ireland.

His previous experience also includes senior roles at Marks and Spencer where he progressed from assistant store manager to regional manager for Northern Ireland and Isle of Man.

Chief operating officer for Nisa Amanda Jones said: “We are delighted to welcome Nigel on board as the new business unit director for symbol, which will take effect from April.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

“His appointment demonstrates the positive direction Nisa is taking to become more retail and consumer focussed so the business is better equipped to deliver retail solutions and benefits to our wide range of members.”

Gray added: “I am genuinely excited to join Nisa and look forward to continuing to build on the success of the company. I’m confident that with my retail experience from Marks and Spencer and Spar Henderson, I can make positive changes and bring new ideas.”
