Next confirms start date for new finance director

Next has confirmed that Amanda James will succeed David Keens as finance director on 1 April.
The fashion and homewares retailer announced in May last year that Keens would be retiring shortly after the completion of its 2015 annual results and that his successor would be James. He will leave the company in May.
Having worked with Next for 19 years, James is currently Next brand finance director.
Next said in a statement: “David has been with Next for 29 years and our finance director for 24 years. He has seen many changes over that time and has been an outstanding guardian of our finances. Our financial position today is testament to his diligence and hard work.”
