Next appoints new non-executive director

Next has appointed investment banker Jonathan Bewes as a non-executive director.
Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, Bewes has spent the past 25 years in investment banking with Robert Fleming, UBS and, most recently, Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Next said Bewes has provided advice to the boards of several UK and overseas companies on financial and strategic issues, including financing, M&A and general corporate matters.
