New low-cost recruitment package for the retail sector launches

Rrecruitment specialist Consort Group has launched a fixed price recruitment service for the retail sector, which combines low costs with cutting edge talent sourcing practice.

The recruitment package is designed to provide a complete end-to-end solution for retail businesses, including the management of online advertising, the design and organisation of assessment centres, candidate screening, referencing and employment contract administration.

Depending on the number of hires undertaken, Consort estimates that clients will save between £300 and £1000 per hire by avoiding conventional recruitment agency fees.

Consort Group director Julie Press explained: “Cost is obviously a major driver behind the new service but we believe it will deliver much more than immediate financial savings. We realise how important it is to manage potentially very high levels of applications, particularly as many job-seekers may be current or potential customers of our clients.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

“With our experience of handling in excess of 300,000 applications a year, we have a proven track record of ensuring every candidate retains a positive perception of a client’s employer and overall brand.”

Consort Group’s current clients include Ladbrokes where it has been responsible for all recruitment across more than 2000 shops and the corporate head office. It has also worked with Metro Bank, the first new high street retail bank for over 200 years, where it has built both front-line customer service and senior management teams.
