A major refurbishment saw the 2,744 sq ft basement and 3,678 sq ft ground floor transformed in time for the store opening.
The deal involved the acquisition of the remaining three-year lease on the property and the negotiation of a brand new 20-year lease with the landlords, Buckingham Management Services Limited.
Keith Wilson from Wilson McHardy, the property agent which found the premises on behalf of MaxMara, said: “This is a very desirable property in a prime position and there were a number of other companies interested in the building.”
