New FD at Kesa Electricals

Simon Herrick appointed to retail group
Kesa Electricals has joined the ranks of retailers shuffling their finance chiefs this week with the appointment of Simon Herrick as finance director.

The owner of the Comet and Darty chains said Herrick’s appointment is effective from March 31. He succeeds Martin Reavley who leaves the group at the end of the month following his election as First Bursar by the Fellows of Kings College Cambridge.
Group chief executive, Jean-Noel Labroue said: “I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Herrick as finance director. Previously he was chief financial officer of PA Consulting Group and joined Kesa as director of finance and treasury a year ago and he has been working closely with Martin since then in all financial aspects of our business.
“I would also like to thank Martin for the outstanding contribution he has made, both to the demerger from Kingfisher and in putting in place the financial infrastructure required for a listed company and we wish him every success in his new role.”
