New company secretary for Ao.com

Online electrical appliances retailer Ao.com has named Julie Finnemore as its new company secretary.

A qualified solicitor, Finnemore joined Ao.com as head of group legal in January and will continue to hold this role in addition to her new position as company secretary.

Finnemore succeeds David Myers who is stepping down as planned following Ao.com’s transition to a listed company.

Ao.com listed on the London Stock Exchange in February.

This week the company reported that like-for-like sales surged by 30% in the three months to the end of June as it prepares to launch into Germany.
