New Asian shopping mall to open in East London
A new indoor Asian shopping centre is to open in the Green Street shopping district in East London this autumn.
Built on the former site of a bus depot, the East Shopping Centre will comprise 27 individual, two storey retail units anchored by a ground floor Souk which will provide a smaller marketplace for retailers and local businesses.
In addition, there will be a first floor food court where there will be six to seven quality catering units with a common seating area.
Due to open in October, the centre will include eco-friendly features such as solar panels, flow restrictors to help save water, and harvesters to recycle water.

The new shopping centre is expected to create around 200 jobs.
