Net-a-Porter to launch childrenswear, homeware and beauty sites

Luxury online fashion retailer Net-a-Porter is planning to move into selling childrenswear, home furnishings and cosmetics according to The Independent.

The company, which sells women’s designer clothing and accessories, is thought to be looking at launching websites for baby and childrenswear, homeware and beauty. The move forms part of expansion plans by Net-a-Porter’s owner, Richemont, which also owns LVMH and PPR .

Potential names for the new websites could include include Net-a-Bébé, Net-a-Beauté and Net-a-Maison.

Last year the retailer moved into menswear with the launch of MrPorter.com and also operates the online designer discount outlet  TheOutnet.com.
