N Brown appoints Angela Spindler as new CEO
N Brown Group, the online, catalogue and stores retailer, has appointed Angela Spindler as its new chief executive. Spindler will succeed current chief executive Alan White who is retiring from the business after 25 years.
Spindler has been chief executive of The Original Factory Shop since 2009. Having initially worked in marketing and sales with Coca Cola UK and Pedigree Masterfoods, Spindler then spent ten years at Asda in marketing, trading and retail development roles including managing director for Global George, Asda’s fashion business. I would like to say a particular thank you to Alan White, who has helped me to settle in, and who will stay on to ensure a proper handover to Angela.”
Never Miss a Retail Update!Spindler added: “N Brown is a fabulous business which has been very successfully adapted to benefit from the multi-channel retail revolution. The business has some excellent brands and is well placed to deliver growth both in the UK and Internationally. I am delighted to be joining.”
