N Brown appoints Andy Haywood as chief information officer
Online and home shopping group N Brown has appointed Andy Haywood as its chief information officer and head of business change.
Haywood was most recently chief information officer at The Co-operative Group and prior to that was IT director at Boots.
In a statement, the company said that Haywood will head up a major systems project which is designed to “step change” the company’s capability and facilitate simpler processes and improvements for customers. The project will also underpin N Brown’s growth plans.
In his new role, Haywood will report to N Brown chief executive Angela Spindler.

She added: “I feel sure his appointment will underpin our ambition to transform, modernise and grow the business going forward. I am delighted to welcome him to the team.”
N Brown’s range of brands include Simply Be, Jacomo, Figleaves and High and Mighty.
