My 1st Years bounces back following £15 million warehouse fire

My 1st Years, the retailer of personalised children’s toys, accessories and gifts, has relaunched following a £15 million fire that destroyed  its office, factory and entire product range.

The company, which rose to prominence after Prince George wore one of its personalised robes when meeting Barack Obama, has bounced back with a complete brand refresh and new products.

In a statement, the company said it has taken the opportunity to build back a better business. The rebrand has involved creating a new logo, brand colour, photography, website and packaging redesign.

My 1st Years’ products include items such as robes, bunnies, wooden toys and its best selling range of baby high top shoes, which was its very first product.

Daniel Price, co-founder of My 1st Years said: “I bought some Nike ID shoes with my initials on and we thought we could get some for Jonny’s brother’s new baby but they don’t do kidswear and the turnaround would have been six weeks. We managed to do it ourselves and the rest is history.”

The retailer is also launching a range of new items including storage bags, trunks, children’s furniture and a selection of bags.
