Nigel Musto has stepped down as chief executive of outdoor clothing brand Musto, according to the Independent.
Musto, who is the son of founder and Olympic silver Medallist Keith Musto, has been replaced by former Jessops chairman David Adams who will take up the role of executive chairman.
Founded in 1965, Musto’s brand ambassdors include sailor Ellen MacArthur and equestrian Zara Phillips. The brand’s latest accounts show that the company lost £89,000 and had a turnover of £32.23 million in 2011.
