Mulberry appoints new chief executive

Luxury fashion brand Mulberry has appointed Bruno Guillon as its new as chief executive.

Guillon joins Mulberry from French luxury brand Hermès where he is managing director of Hermès France with responsibility for the operation of the group’s French subsidiary. Prior to joining Hermès, Guillon worked with LVMH and Nina Ricci.

Mulberry said that current chief executive and chairman Godfrey Davis will continue as non-executive chairman after a three-month handover to ensure a smooth transition. Guillon will join Mulberry in March.

Commenting on the appointment, Godfrey Davis said: “We have planned our management succession carefully and have been actively searching for the right candidate since the beginning of this year. Bruno brings with him a wealth of luxury goods experience and an ability to drive our ambitious plans for international growth.”
