6 January, 2020 | by Angela Beevers
Marks & Spencer has appointed David Surdeau as its interim chief financial officer.
Surdeau will join the business on 7 January and will work in the role until a permanent chief financial officer is appointed. He is replacing Humphrey Singer whose departure was announced in September last year.
In his new role, Surdeau will report directly to Mark & Spencer chief executive Steve Rowe.
His prior roles include over 15 years working with the Tesco supermarket chain.
