Mothercare non-exec director steps down

Mothercare has announced that its non-executive director Angela Brav has taken the decision to step down from the board with immediate effect.

Having served in the position since January 2013, Brav wishes to focus on “other commitments outside the business”.

Alan Parker, chairman of Mothercare, said: “I would like to thank Angela for her valuable contribution, hard work and support to the board over the past three years and I wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”

Brav is the chief executive for Europe at the Intercontinental Hotels Group.
