Morrisons launches Flowerworld

The Morrisons supermarket chain has officially launched its online flower delivery service Flowerworld.

The luxury hand-tied bouquet service offers blooms priced from £19 with the flowers picked and shipped in under 36 hours. There is also free delivery on every order.

With over 400 fully trained florists creating up to 900,000 bouquets a week, over 260 million flowers a year are set to pass through Morrisons Flowerworld.co.uk.

Flower manager at Morrisons Flowerworld, Tim Woodhouse, forecasts what flowers customers want to buy based on advice from celebrity florists, the fashion industry and home decor trendmakers.

Morrisons originally acquired Flowerworld in 2011 after working with Woodhouse and his team for almost 20 years.

Flowerworld bouquets will now be available on www.flowerworld.co.uk and in 491 Morrisons supermarkets nationwide.
