Moonpig to launch new TV adverts to showcase personalisation options
Moonpig is to launch a new set of TV adverts in the run-up to Christmas.
Debuting on 25 November, the first advert will feature a festive character strutting down a snowy street, showcasing the latest card personalisation options, including stickers, handwriting, photos, and experience gifts.
Each option appears on and around an adorable Moonpig before it squeezes through a letterbox and transforms into a card delivered to the recipient’s door.
A total of six new adverts will feature a different Moonpig to match occasions throughout the year.
Moonpig brought back the mascot in 2021 while working with creatives at Modern Citizens.
Kristof Fahy, chief marketing officer at Moonpig, said: “We know when it comes to personalisation Moonpig is unbeatable with the breadth of features that can be added to your card, and this is what we wanted to demonstrate with our new adverts, that we truly have the UK’s most personalised card.
“Since the Moonpigs launched, we’ve had such a great reception to their little characters, so we’re delighted to bring them back, with a large dose of confidence and swagger to reflect how the strength of our offering has grown too.”
The new advert will launch across TV, VOD, radio and YouTube, with new versions dropping over the coming year across peak occasions, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. There will also be an advert specifically designed to celebrate birthdays.
