Morrisons has cut its prices on 130 own-brand products by an average of 22% with some items reduced by as much as 56%. Products include everyday items such as eggs, bread, butter, coffee, milk, pasta, sugar and juice.

Shoe designer Sophia Webster is opening a pop-up in Harrods’ fifth-floor shoe department to showcase her spring collection. The shop will remain open for a month from 16 February and will offer more than 60 designs.

High street fashion retailer H&M has reported that it sales rose by 14% in local currencies in January 2015 compared to the same month in the previous year. The retailer operated a total of 3,541 in the month compared to 3,184 in January 2014.
