Missguided to launch activewear range

Fast fashion retailer Missguided is to expand its offer with the launch of its first ever activewear clothing range.

The new 50 piece collection, which will debut online on 20 January, will feature exclusive prints, staple strappy tops and statement slogans. Items will be priced between £9 and £20.

To mark the launch, Missguided has joined forces with fitness training and lifestyle regime SBC, which counts celebrities such as Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh among its fans.

Launching on its own micro site, SBC X Missguided will provide customers with an exclusively designed ‘SBC Workout Programme’ developed in conjunction with SBC founder and fitness trainer Russell Bateman.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Victoria Betts, marketing and trading director at Missguided, said: “We have seen growing interest from consumers in clothing that is both functional and fashionable, and Missguided Active has been launched to meet this demand.

“The Missguided customer is a confident, stylish and fun and our new Active range embodies the same playful attitude as the mainline collection.”

The move follows the launch of two collaborative ranges with singer Nicole Scherzinger in 2014 and the rollout of Missguided+, the brand’s first ever plus size range.

Missguided plans to launch additional new ranges in 2015 including a petite and tall range later in the year.
