Miniso launches New York pop-up in Times Square

Global lifestyle brand Miniso has opened a pop-up store in New York’s Times Square.

Marking a second location for the brand in the shopping district, the pop-up is situated next to the Disney Store at 1540 Broadway,

The shop will remain open for a year and has been described by Miniso as a plushie and IP heaven, with products including IP collaboration ranges such as Sanrio, Snoopy, Winnie the Pooh, and Minions.

The opening follows the launch of a flagship Miniso store in Times Square in May 2023. The brand said the new pop-up performed well during its initial soft opening in early March, with a highest sales per square-foot record among all US stores.

Tyrone Li, Miniso Miniso US general manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening this new pop-up in Times Square. Our flagship store here has been a massive hit, breaking numerous brand records and proving a popular addition for Miniso joy-seekers.

“This new pop-up is a playful and innovative reimagining of our ‘Joy Philosophy’ that highlights our outstanding range of IP products and is sure to add even more energy to this buzzing location.”

Miniso is continuing to expand rapidly around the world, particularly in the US where it now has 120 stores in more than 20 states.
