Michael Kors names new president of Japan
Michael Kors has appointed Daisuke Yamazaki as president of Japan following the retirement of Toshi Tashiro.
Having joined the luxury fashion brand this week, Yamazaki will report to Stephane Lafay, Michael Kors president of Asia, although Tashiro will stay on until the end of the year to ensure a smooth handover.
Yamazaki was previously chief executive of Roberto Cavalli Japan. Prior to that he was chief executive of the Alexander McQueen division at Gucci Japan and spent 15 years at Giorgio Armani Japan where he held a variety of roles.
