Michael Kors appoints Jane Thompson to board
Luxury fashion brand Michael Kors has appointed Jane Thompson to its board of directors.
With ten years’ experience in e-commerce, digital marketing and technology, Thompson is currently co-founder and director of The Fusion Labs, the UK based digital marketing and e-commerce company which operates a network of niche e-commerce sites. She also serves as chairman of Mysinglefriend.com and as a director of Listcorp.com.
From 2003 to 2007, Thompson held various senior roles at Match.com including senior vice president and general manager for North America. She was then managing director for international at IAC/InterActiveCorp and has previously worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company.
Commenting on the appointment, Michael Kors chairman John Idol said: “Jane adds a wealth of valuable experience to our board, particularly in the areas of e-commerce, social media and digital marketing.
“We are delighted that Jane is joining our board and we look forward to her insights and contributions as we continue to grow our brand globally.”
