Max Studio signs up for London Designer Outlet
Quintain has signed up US fashion brand Max Studio for its London Designer Outlet at Wembley.
Max Studio, founded by American fashion designer Leon Max, has several retail stores in the US and the Far East and made its UK debut in 2011. The brand has signed a 10 year lease for 2,357 sq ft at the centre.
The signing of the upmarket fashion retailer follows hot on the heels of
Marks & Spencer, Superdry and Guess, who all agreed terms in May. Quintain has also secured a number of food and beverage operators including Prezzo and Homemade Burger.
The development, which is due open next year, is nearly 50% let. When complete, the 350,000 sq ft centre will include 85 retail units, 15 restaurants, cafés and coffee shops, as well as a nine-screen Cineworld cinema.
Phil Cottingham, head of retail at Quintain, said: “It is a real coup for us to have signed Max Studio at Wembley. This will be London’s first bespoke designer outlet so we need to supplement the strong retail anchors we already have in place with luxury brands, both those that are familiar names in the UK and those that are less so. Max Studio will be a major draw for shoppers at Wembley, and is the type of international luxury brand we are keen to attract.”
Simon Goldstein, managing director of Max Studio UK, added: “London Designer Outlet will attract a sophisticated audience so is a great location for us as we seek to increase our presence in London and the UK.”
