Marks & Spencer hires business lead for brands
Marks & Spencer has hired Sarah Savva as its new business lead for brands.
Until December 2018, Savva had worked for 29 years with the Debenhams department store, most recently as director of external business. After leaving Debenhams, she worked for a year as a consultant with the likes of House of Fraser, Liberty and Baird Group then joined Primark as project manager for new business development.
Marks & Spencer’s clothing and home transformation director Neil Harrison said: “We’re delighted that Sarah has joined us, bringing her extensive commercial experience to help ensure we have complementary brands and where we have categories with leadership position, we maintain that with added brands that create a full offer.”
The retailer announced in its full year results that it would be looking to bring a number of brands on board to help enhance its product offering for customers.
