Marshall Ward in Butlins distribution deal

Catalogue available to Bourne Leisure
Home shopping specialist Marshall Ward has agreed a catalogue distribution deal with Bourne Leisure owner of Butlins, Haven, British Holidays, Haven Europe and Warner Holidays.

The deal involves catalogue distribution to Butlins in Skegness, Minehead and Bognor Regis, plus two Haven sites. Butlins and Haven inserts will also go into 100,000 Marshall Ward catalogues, offering up to a 50 per cent saving on Butlins and Haven holidays along with a free holiday prize draw.
Marshall Ward is offering Bourne Leisure customers a 20 per cent discount with first order. There will be catalogue dispensers at check-in areas, POS on site, banners and strut cards in chalets and caravans, and a Marshall Ward infomercial on Butlins TV.
Other planned initiatives include a Bourne Leisure employee incentive scheme, a mailer insert in welcome packs, and reciprocal staff discounta. Marshall Ward appeals to female shoppers aged 40-plus, looking for low price, high quality clothes and homeware, and has 4m customers.
The company is developing its customer recruitment channels and the new deal follows a uccessful pilot with Shearings Travel Company which began in April and another distribution deal with Moto Granada Service stations.
