Marks & Spencer’s Laura Wade-Gery to go on maternity leave

Marks & Spencer has announced that its executive director of multichannel, Laura Wade-Gery, is to go on maternity leave from 1 September.
Until her return to the business in early January, Wade-Gery’s responsibilities will be handled by director of retail, Sacha Berendji, and director of M&S.com, David Walmsley. Both will report temporarily to Marc Bolland, Marks & Spencer’s chief executive.
Meanwhile, chief finance officer, Helen Weir, will be responsible for e-commerce distribution during the period.
