Marks & Spencer to recruit for 11,000 Christmas roles
Marks & Spencer will be recruiting over 11,000 new customer assistants to support its UK stores during the busy festive period.
This figures is higher than last year with over 1,000 more vacancies available.
Responsibilities for customer assistants will range from serving customers in-store and stocking shelves and rails to engaging with customers to understand their needs and making recommendations.
Christmas staff also play a major role in delivering M&S’ Christmas Food to Order service which this year launched on 24 September.
M&S will be opening recruitment on 9 October with new colleagues set to join the business from mid-November. Roles will span both the food and clothing and home businesses.
