Marks & Spencer becomes exclusive fashion partner for the X Factor
Marks & Spencer has signed a deal to become the exclusive fashion partner of The X Factor live final weekend at London’s Wembley Arena and the fashion section of the official website.
The agreement with with Syco TV, FremantleMedia Enterprises and ITV means that M&S’ key styles and trends for autumn/winter 2011 will be showcased to The X Factor viewers through a permanent presence on the show’s homepage. Users will also be able to access bespoke footage via an M&S branded video player which will be available when the first live show airs in October.
Under the partnership, M&S customers will also have a chance to win tickets for the Saturday and Sunday evening live shows at Wembley Arena. The tickets will be up for grabs via customer and employee competitions that will promoted via multiple channels including online, social networking, direct marketing, CRM and in-store activity.
Finally, M&S will be the partner for all in-show competitions for the duration of bothThe X Factor on ITV1 and The Xtra Factor on ITV2 for which they will have on-screen branding.
